The Parlor guitar is a delicate and sensual little instrument with a big voice and light, responsive touch. Designed for more intimate playing where raw power takes a back seat to tone quality and easy playability, the basic design is that of a small 00-12 fret to the body guitar similar to the 1920's 00-28 Martin. Delicate, deeply scalloped bracing and thin top and back plates give the guitar an extremely quick response, making it effortless to play. Available with either the solid headstock or traditional slot head design. Short scale standard (24.895"). Here is DaddyStovePipe, playing his Greven 00-42, one of his favorite finger style guitars.
