Ordering - I build all of my guitars one at a time, by hand, using simple tools and time tested traditional methods of construction and am able to make changes on the fly to achieve results specific to your needs as a player. Necks are hand shaped to order. Altemate scale lengths, neck widths, heel shapes, bridge designs and one-of-a-kind decorative elements are available, often at no additional cost. Anything you can imagine is possible, it just takes a little longer. The usual build time is 12 months from time of order, but will depend on the number of current orders on hand at the time your order is placed. I can often deliver to a specific target date as well, but this service is not alwavs available.

While I have "standard" models as pictured on this site, they represent a starting point as to what is possible. If you have ideas about any details of the guitar you are thinking of, contact me and we can discuss them at length. None of my guitars are "off the shelf', even if they may look like the standard model. I still voice each instrument specifically to the player.

Greven guitars are priced individually based on woods chosen and degree of ornamentation or level of custom work. The range is currently $4200 to $12,000. The Brazilian rosewood has a range of up-charge according to my cost and the level of quality. Each set is unique.

My stock tuning machines are Gotoh standards in gold or the 510 model, and Grover Sta-tite butterbean tuners for the vintage style guitar models. I do not like Waverly tuning machines and will not offer them unless the player insists and supplies them. All prices for the guitars include a heavy duty hardshell case to fit, but many otheicase types are available at additional cost. call or e-mail me to discuss the details and for pricing.

Cutaway - A popular option is a cutaway, which adds $300.00 to the base price.
